स्तोमं-महः
पदार्थान्वयभाषाः - [१] हे (अद्रिवः) = आदरणीय प्रभो! आप (अत्रीणाम्) = [ अ + त्रि] 'काम-क्रोध-लोभ' इन तीनों से ऊपर उठनेवाले पुरुषों के (स्तोमम्) = स्तुति समूह को तथा (महः) = [Light, power] प्रकाश व शक्ति को (कृधि) = करिये। इसके लिये इनके सोम का रक्षण करिये। शेष मन्त्र भाग संख्या एक पर द्रष्टव्य है।
भावार्थभाषाः - भावार्थ- प्रभु काम-क्रोध-लोभ के विजेता पुरुषों को स्तुति की वृत्ति तथा प्रकाश व बल प्राप्त कराते हैं।
