धन्व॑ना॒ गा धन्व॑ना॒जिं ज॑येम॒ धन्व॑ना ती॒व्राः स॒मदो॑ जयेम। धनुः॒ शत्रो॑रपका॒मं कृ॑णोति॒ धन्व॑ना॒ सर्वाः॑ प्र॒दिशो॑ जयेम ॥२॥

हे वीरपुरुषा ! यद्धनुः शत्रोरपकामं कृणोति येन धन्वना यथा वयं गा धन्वनाजिं जयेम धन्वना तीव्राः समदो जयेम धन्वना सर्वाः प्रदिशो जयेम तथा तेन यूयमप्येताञ्जयत ॥२॥

What should heroes do with what-is told.
O heroes! with the bow and other arms and missiles, which disappoint the hope of the foes, let us conquer the land, let us be victorious in the battles, let us overcome even our fierce-exulting enemies in battles and let us with the help of the bows and various other weapons subdue all enemies in different directions.
