उ॒भा जि॑ग्यथु॒र्न परा॑ जयेथे॒ न परा॑ जिग्ये कत॒रश्च॒नैनोः॑। इन्द्र॑श्च विष्णो॒ यदप॑स्पृधेथां त्रे॒धा स॒हस्रं॒ वि तदै॑रयेथाम् ॥८॥
ubhā jigyathur na parā jayethe na parā jigye kataraś canainoḥ | indraś ca viṣṇo yad apaspṛdhethāṁ tredhā sahasraṁ vi tad airayethām ||
उ॒भा। जि॒ग्य॒थुः॒। न। परा॑। ज॒ये॒थे॒ इति॑। न। परा॑। जि॒ग्ये॒। क॒त॒रः। च॒न। ए॒नोः॒। इन्द्रः॑। च॒। वि॒ष्णो॒ इति॑। यत्। अप॑स्पृधेथाम्। त्रे॒धा। स॒हस्र॑म्। वि। तत्। ऐ॒र॒ये॒था॒म् ॥८॥

[त्रेधा सहस्त्रं] इन्द्र और विष्णु का विजय

पुनस्तौ कीदृशावित्याह ॥
हे विष्णो इन्द्रश्च ! युवां यत्सहस्रं तत्त्रेधापस्पृधेथां व्यैरयेथां तदोभा युवां जिग्यथुर्न परा जयेथे एनोः कतरश्चन न परा जिग्ये ॥८॥

O Commander-in-Chief of the army ! you who are like the pervasive electricity and President of the Council of ministers, both of you always conquer and neither of you be defeated. When you fight with your wicked enemies, you divide your grand and infinite army in three sections (land, navy and air force) we inspire all soldiers to fight valiantly.
