सु॒गोत ते॑ सु॒पथा॒ पर्व॑तेष्ववा॒ते अ॒पस्त॑रसि स्वभानो। सा न॒ आ व॑ह पृथुयामन्नृष्वे र॒यिं दि॑वो दुहितरिष॒यध्यै॑ ॥४॥
sugota te supathā parvateṣv avāte apas tarasi svabhāno | sā na ā vaha pṛthuyāmann ṛṣve rayiṁ divo duhitar iṣayadhyai ||
सु॒ऽगा। उ॒त। ते॒। सु॒ऽपथा॑। पर्व॑तेषु। अ॒वा॒ते। अ॒पः। त॒र॒सि॒। स्व॒भा॒नो॒ इति॑ स्वऽभानो। सा। नः॒। आ। व॒ह॒। पृ॒थु॒ऽया॒म॒न्। ऋ॒ष्वे॒। र॒यिम्। दि॒वः॒। दु॒हि॒तः॒। इ॒ष॒यध्यै॑ ॥४॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर वह स्त्री कैसी हो, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥

पुनस्सा स्त्री कीदृशी भवेदित्याह ॥
हे स्वभानो पृथुयामन्नृष्वे ! त्वमनया भार्यया सह रयिमा वह नोऽवाप इव दुःखानि तरसि, अवाते पर्वतेषु सुपथा गच्छसि या ते सुगा स्त्री वा हे दिवो दुहितरिव वर्त्तमाने स्त्रि ! त्वं पतिमिषयध्यै उतापि ते पतिर्हृद्यो भवेत् सा त्वं नः सुपथा सुखमा वह ॥४॥

How should a woman be-is further told.
O husband! shining by your splendor, conveyor of many good things and endowed with great virtues, with this your wife, bring wealth. Like the water's, you swim across all miseries. You go comfortably in places, where the wind is not blowing, and in hills by good paths along with your wife, who can walk well. O woman! you who are like the daughter of light, may your husband be dear and lovely to you, so that you go to him with pleasure. Lead us to happiness by good path of Dharma or righteousness.
