सं वां॑ श॒ता ना॑सत्या स॒हस्राश्वा॑नां पुरु॒पन्था॑ गि॒रे दा॑त्। भ॒रद्वा॑जाय वीर॒ नू गि॒रे दा॑द्ध॒ता रक्षां॑सि पुरुदंससा स्युः ॥१०॥
saṁ vāṁ śatā nāsatyā sahasrāśvānām purupanthā gire dāt | bharadvājāya vīra nū gire dād dhatā rakṣāṁsi purudaṁsasā syuḥ ||
सम्। वा॒म्। श॒ता। ना॒स॒त्या॒। स॒हस्रा॑। अश्वा॑नाम्। पु॒रु॒ऽपन्थाः॑। गि॒रे। दा॒त्। भ॒रत्ऽवा॑जाय। वी॒र॒। नु। गि॒रे। दा॒त्। ह॒ता। रक्षां॑सि। पु॒रु॒ऽदं॒स॒सा॒। स्यु॒रिति॑ स्युः ॥१०॥

पुना राजसेनेशौ किं कुर्यातामित्याह ॥
हे पुरुदंससा नासत्या ! यो वां पुरुपन्था अश्वानां गिरे शता सहस्रा सं दाद्यो भरद्वाजाय गिरे शता सहस्रा दाद्येन रक्षांसि हता स्युः। हे वीर ! त्वं तेन दुष्टान् नू हिन्धि ॥१०॥

What should the king and Commander-in-Chief of the army do -is further told.
O king and Commander-in-Chief of the army you who are doers of many good deeds and who are free from all false or unrighteous conduct, your manifold path which gives hundred, or even thousands for the horses and for true speech or the upholder of true knowledge and by which wicked persons are killed. O hero! slay the wicked persons by that noble advice tendered by your well-wishers.
