यद्रो॑दसी प्र॒दिवो॒ अस्ति॒ भूमा॒ हेळो॑ दे॒वाना॑मु॒त म॑र्त्य॒त्रा। तदा॑दित्या वसवो रुद्रियासो रक्षो॒युजे॒ तपु॑र॒घं द॑धात ॥८॥
yad rodasī pradivo asti bhūmā heḻo devānām uta martyatrā | tad ādityā vasavo rudriyāso rakṣoyuje tapur aghaṁ dadhāta ||
यत्। रो॒द॒सी॒ इति॑। प्र॒ऽदिवः॑। अस्ति॑। भूमा॑। हेळः॑। दे॒वाना॑म्। उ॒त। म॒र्त्य॒ऽत्रा। तत्। आ॒दि॒त्याः॒। व॒स॒वः॒। रु॒द्रि॒या॒सः॒। र॒क्षः॒ऽयुजे॑। तपुः॑। अ॒घम्। द॒धा॒त॒ ॥८॥

राक्षसीभाव व संताप

पुनर्मनुष्याः किं धरेयुरित्याह ॥
हे वसवो रुद्रियास आदित्याः प्रथममध्यमोत्तमा विद्वांसो ! यूयं यत्प्रदिवो देवानामुत मर्त्यत्रा भूमा हेळो रोदसी प्राप्तोऽस्ति यथा वसवो रुद्रियास आदित्यास्तद्दधात तथा रक्षोयुजे तपुरघं दधात ॥८॥

What should men uphold or meditate upon-is told.
O Vasus, Rudras and Adityas ! scholars of the third, second and first class, the insult of the supreme light belonging to the enlightened men and of ordinary persons which is pervading the heaven and earth, as Vasus-the earth and other ten Pranas and souls, and parts of the Time uphold; in the same manner, for the destruction of the supporters of the wicked; keep up suffering and sin.
