ता यो॑धिष्टम॒भि गा इ॑न्द्र नू॒नम॒पः स्व॑रु॒षसो॑ अग्न ऊ॒ळ्हाः। दिशः॒ स्व॑रु॒षस॑ इन्द्र चि॒त्रा अ॒पो गा अ॑ग्ने युवसे नि॒युत्वा॑न् ॥२॥
tā yodhiṣṭam abhi gā indra nūnam apaḥ svar uṣaso agna ūḻhāḥ | diśaḥ svar uṣasa indra citrā apo gā agne yuvase niyutvān ||
ता। यो॒धि॒ष्ट॒म्। अ॒भि। गाः। इ॒न्द्र॒। नू॒नम्। अ॒पः। स्वः॑। उ॒षसः॑। अ॒ग्ने॒। ऊ॒ळ्हाः। दिशः॑। स्वः॑। उ॒षसः॑। इ॒न्द्र॒। चि॒त्राः। अ॒पः। गाः। अ॒ग्ने॒। यु॒व॒से॒। नि॒युत्वा॑न् ॥२॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
मनुष्य क्या करके सुख पाते हैं, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
'दिशः-स्वः-उषसः-अपः-गाः'
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
मनुष्याः किं कृत्वा सुखं प्राप्नुवन्तीत्याह ॥
हे इन्द्राग्ने वा ! त्वं स्वरादित्य उषस इव गा नूनमपो युवसे याभ्यां दिश उळ्हास्ता विदित्वा युवामभि योधिष्टम्। हे इन्द्राग्ने वा नियुत्वाँस्त्वं स्वरादित्य उषस इव चित्रा अपो गा युवसे तस्मान्नियुत्वानसि ॥२॥

By doing what men attain happiness-is told.
O prosperous king or enlightened person as the sun urges the dawns, you certainly unite the lands and actions. Fight from all sides with the wicked enemies knowing the properties of all things which pervade the directions. You unite wonderful speeches and water. O Indra-destroyer of miseries! or Agni-enlightened leader ! as the sun illuminates the dawns, there- fore, both of you are administrators of justice like God.
