अ॒यं स यो व॑रि॒माणं॑ पृथि॒व्या व॒र्ष्माणं॑ दि॒वो अकृ॑णोद॒यं सः। अ॒यं पी॒यूषं॑ ति॒सृषु॑ प्र॒वत्सु॒ सोमो॑ दाधारो॒र्व१॒॑न्तरि॑क्षम् ॥४॥
ayaṁ sa yo varimāṇam pṛthivyā varṣmāṇaṁ divo akṛṇod ayaṁ saḥ | ayam pīyūṣaṁ tisṛṣu pravatsu somo dādhārorv antarikṣam ||
अ॒यम्। सः। यः। व॒रि॒माण॑म्। पृ॒थि॒व्याः। व॒र्ष्माण॑म्। दि॒वः। अकृ॑णोत्। अ॒यम्। सः। अ॒यम्। पी॒यूष॑म्। ति॒सृषु॑। प्र॒वत्ऽसु॑। सोमः॑। दा॒धा॒र॒। उ॒रु। अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् ॥४॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर उसी विषय को कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
'वह महान् सोम' प्रभु
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! योऽयं सोमस्तिसृषु प्रवत्सु पीयूषं दाधार योऽयं पृथिव्या वरिमाणं दिवो वर्ष्माणमकृणोत् स सर्वैर्मनुष्यैः सङ्ग्राह्यो योऽयमुर्वन्तरिक्षं दाधार सोऽयं सर्वेषां सुखकरोऽस्ति ॥४॥

What does soma do-is told.
O men ! this Soma (creative power of God) upholds nectar in three lower regions like the earth. It is this that causes the greatness of the earth and causes rain from the light or rays of the sun. It should be taken from all sides for proper utilization. It is this, that is the upholder af the subtle cause and is, therefore, the bestower of happiness upon all.
