अ॒यम॑कृणोदु॒षसः॑ सु॒पत्नी॑र॒यं सूर्ये॑ अदधा॒ज्ज्योति॑र॒न्तः। अ॒यं त्रि॒धातु॑ दि॒वि रो॑च॒नेषु॑ त्रि॒तेषु॑ विन्दद॒मृतं॒ निगू॑ळ्हम् ॥२३॥
ayam akṛṇod uṣasaḥ supatnīr ayaṁ sūrye adadhāj jyotir antaḥ | ayaṁ tridhātu divi rocaneṣu triteṣu vindad amṛtaṁ nigūḻham ||
अ॒यम्। अ॒कृ॒णो॒त्। उ॒षसः॑। सु॒ऽपत्नीः॑। अ॒यम्। सूर्ये॑। अ॒द॒धा॒त्। ज्योतिः॑। अ॒न्तरिति॑। अ॒यम्। त्रि॒ऽधातु॑। दि॒वि। रो॒च॒नेषु॑। त्रि॒तेषु॑। वि॒न्द॒त्। अ॒मृत॑म्। निऽगू॑ळ्हम् ॥२३॥

पुनर्विद्वांसः कीदृशा भवेयुरित्याह ॥
हे विद्वांसो ! यथाऽयं उषसः सुपत्नीरकृणोत्तथैकपत्नीव्रता यूयं भवत यथाऽयमीश्वरः सूर्य्येऽन्तर्ज्योतिरदधात् तथात्मासु विद्याप्रकाशं धत्त यथाऽयं जगदीश्वरो दिवि त्रितेषु रोचनेष्वमृतं निगूळ्हं त्रिधात्वव्यक्तं विन्दत्तथा प्रकृत्यादिकं जगद्विजानीत ॥२३॥

How should the enlightened persons be-is further told.
O highly learned person ! as the sun makes the dawns like good wives, so you should be the observers of the chastity of monogamy. As this sun establishes light in the solar world, so establish the light of knowledge in the heart of the people. As this God, who is the lord of the world, finds out the hidden immortal matter consisting of Satva, Rajas and Tamas (purity, passion and inertia) in three luminaries, fire, lightning and sun; so you should know the nature of the matter and other things.
