एमे॑नं प्र॒त्येत॑न॒ सोमे॑भिः सोम॒पात॑मम्। अम॑त्रेभिर्ऋजी॒षिण॒मिन्द्रं॑ सु॒तेभि॒रिन्दु॑भिः ॥२॥
em enam pratyetana somebhiḥ somapātamam | amatrebhir ṛjīṣiṇam indraṁ sutebhir indubhiḥ ||
आ। ई॒म्। ए॒न॒म्। प्र॒ति॒ऽएत॑न। सोमे॑भिः। सो॒म॒ऽपात॑नम्। अम॑त्रेभिः। ऋजी॒षिण॑म्। इन्द्र॑म्। सु॒तेभिः॑। इन्दु॑ऽभिः ॥२॥

फिर मनुष्य क्या करें, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥

सोमरक्षण व प्रभु प्राप्ति

पुनर्मनुष्याः किं कुर्युरित्याह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! यूयं सुतेभिः सोमेभिरिन्दुभिरमत्रेभिः सोमपातममृजीषिणमेनमिन्द्रमीमा प्रत्येतन ॥२॥

What should men do is further told.
O men ! trust this king, who is giver of wealth, who desires to have upright and righteous persons, who is Chief among the drinkers of Soma (the juice of invigorating herb) and go to him with the juice of the herbs or wealth (in the form of revenues etc.) with delighting water, and good vessels (in which those waters or juices are stored).
