आ या॑हि॒ शश्व॑दुश॒ता य॑या॒थेन्द्र॑ म॒हा मन॑सा सोम॒पेय॑म्। उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि शृणव इ॒मा नोऽथा॑ ते य॒ज्ञस्त॒न्वे॒३॒॑ वयो॑ धात् ॥४॥
ā yāhi śaśvad uśatā yayāthendra mahā manasā somapeyam | upa brahmāṇi śṛṇava imā no thā te yajñas tanve vayo dhāt ||
आ। या॒हि॒। शश्व॑त्। उ॒श॒ता। य॒या॒थ॒। इन्द्र॑। म॒हा। मन॑सा। सो॒म॒ऽपेय॑म्। उप॑। ब्रह्मा॑णि। शृ॒ण॒वः॒। इ॒मा। नः॒। अथ॑। ते॒। य॒ज्ञः। त॒न्वे॑। वयः॑। धा॒त् ॥४॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर राजा आदिकों को क्या करना चाहिये, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥

पुना राजादिभिः किं कर्त्तव्यमित्याह ॥
हे इन्द्र ! यो यज्ञो नस्ते च तन्वे वयो धात्तेनाथेमा ब्रह्माणि त्वं महा मनसोशता शृणवः शश्वद्ययाथ सोमपेयं पातुमुपायाहि ॥४॥

What should king and officers of the State do-is told.
O king! giver of great wealth, come here to attend the Yajna (dealing that increases good knowledge and conduct) which upholds or ennobles your and our life. Along with the enlightened persons, who desires the welfare of all and with great mind, endowed with true knowledge, listen to the Vedas, go constantly or be active and come to drink the Soma (juice of the invigorating herbs) which is worth drinking.
