समि॑द्धे अ॒ग्नौ सु॒त इ॑न्द्र॒ सोम॒ आ त्वा॑ वहन्तु॒ हर॑यो॒ वहि॑ष्ठाः। त्वा॒य॒ता मन॑सा जोहवी॒मीन्द्रा या॑हि सुवि॒ताय॑ म॒हे नः॑ ॥३॥
samiddhe agnau suta indra soma ā tvā vahantu harayo vahiṣṭhāḥ | tvāyatā manasā johavīmīndrā yāhi suvitāya mahe naḥ ||
सम्ऽइ॑द्धे। अ॒ग्नौ। सु॒ते। इ॒न्द्र॒। सोमे॑। आ। त्वा॒। व॒ह॒न्तु॒। हर॑यः। वहि॑ष्ठाः। त्वा॒ऽय॒ता। मन॑सा। जो॒ह॒वी॒मि॒। इन्द्र॑। आ। या॒हि॒। सु॒वि॒ताय॑। म॒हे। नः॑ ॥३॥

समिद्धे अग्नौ, सुते सोमे
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुना राजा राजजनाश्च किं कुर्युरित्याह ॥
हे इन्द्र ! वहिष्ठा हरयो समिद्धेऽग्नौ सुते सोमे त्वा त्वामाऽऽवहन्तु। हे इन्द्र ! यंत्वायता मनसाऽहं त्वां जोहवीमि स त्वं महे सुविताय न आ याहि ॥३॥

What should the king and the officers of the State do-is further told.
O king ! giver of prosperity, let those men who are powerful and rapid going (like the horses and who are conveyors of great delight, bring you here when the fire is kindled and the great juice of soma and other invigorating herbs has been extracted. O Indra! destroyer of poverty and misery, come here to give us great impetus and encouragement as I invoke with devoted mind, desiring you intensely.
