इन्द्रो॒ वाज॑स्य॒ स्थवि॑रस्य दा॒तेन्द्रो॑ गी॒र्भिर्व॑र्धतां वृ॒द्धम॑हाः। इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्रं हनि॑ष्ठो अस्तु॒ सत्वा ता सू॒रिः पृ॑णति॒ तूतु॑जानः ॥५॥
indro vājasya sthavirasya dātendro gīrbhir vardhatāṁ vṛddhamahāḥ | indro vṛtraṁ haniṣṭho astu satvā tā sūriḥ pṛṇati tūtujānaḥ ||
इन्द्रः॑। वाज॑स्य। स्थवि॑रस्य। दा॒ता। इन्द्रः॑। गीः॒ऽभिः। व॒र्ध॒ता॒म्। वृ॒द्धऽम॑हाः। इन्द्रः॑। वृ॒त्रम्। हनि॑ष्ठः। अ॒स्तु॒। सत्वा॑। आ। ता। सू॒रिः। पृ॒ण॒ति॒। तूतु॑जानः ॥५॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर उसी विषय को कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
वाजस्य स्थविरस्य दाता
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! य इन्द्रः स्थविरस्य वाजस्य दाता य इन्द्रो गीर्भिर्वर्धतां वृद्धमहा इन्द्रो वृत्रमिव शत्रूणां हनिष्ठोऽस्तु यस्तूतुजानः सत्वा सूरिस्ताऽऽपृणति तं सर्वे यूयं सत्कुरुत ॥५॥

The same subject of duties of man-is continued.
O men ! all honor that king, who is endowed with knowledge and wealth and who is the giver of the gross food-grains and other things. May the king grow, with the encouraging words uttered by the enlightened persons. May that king be the slayer of the foes as the sun is of the clouds. That king is worthy of respect, who being active and prompt, enlightened and endowed with the pure (sattvic) virtues, making all happy by utilizing the wealth for the welfare of others.
