न ता न॑शन्ति॒ न द॑भाति॒ तस्क॑रो॒ नासा॑मामि॒त्रो व्यथि॒रा द॑धर्षति। दे॒वाँश्च॒ याभि॒र्यज॑ते॒ ददा॑ति च॒ ज्योगित्ताभिः॑ सचते॒ गोप॑तिः स॒ह ॥३॥
na tā naśanti na dabhāti taskaro nāsām āmitro vyathir ā dadharṣati | devām̐ś ca yābhir yajate dadāti ca jyog it tābhiḥ sacate gopatiḥ saha ||

अथ किमुत्तमं दानमित्याह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! याभिर्यजमानो देवान् यजते ददाति च ज्योगित्ताभिस्सह गोपतिः सचते नासामामित्रो व्यथिश्चाऽऽदधर्षति ता न नशन्ति तस्करो ता न दभाति ता यूयं ब्रह्मचर्यादिना गृह्णीत ॥३॥

You should acquire the words of knowledge with the observance of Brahmacharya and other rules with which a Yajamana (performer of the Yajnas) honors the enlightened persons and associates with them and gives that knowledge to others. The master of the cows and the pure words ever united himself with them for a long time. The trouble caused by the adversaries cannot subdue them nor can a thief steal them.
