अनु॑ ते दायि म॒ह इ॑न्द्रि॒याय॑ स॒त्रा ते॒ विश्व॒मनु॑ वृत्र॒हत्ये॑। अनु॑ क्ष॒त्रमनु॒ सहो॑ यज॒त्रेन्द्र॑ दे॒वेभि॒रनु॑ ते नृ॒षह्ये॑ ॥८॥
anu te dāyi maha indriyāya satrā te viśvam anu vṛtrahatye | anu kṣatram anu saho yajatrendra devebhir anu te nṛṣahye ||
अनु॑। ते॒। दा॒यि॒। म॒हे। इ॒न्द्रि॒याय॑। स॒त्रा। ते॒। विश्व॑म्। अनु॑। वृ॒त्र॒ऽहत्ये॑। अनु॑। क्ष॒त्रम्। अनु॑। सहः॑। य॒ज॒त्र॒। इन्द्र॑। दे॒वेभिः॑। अनु॑। ते॒। नृ॒ऽसह्ये॑ ॥८॥

फिर वह राजा क्या करे, इस विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं ॥

पुनः स राजा किं कुर्यादित्याह ॥
हे यजत्रेन्द्र ! त्वया नृषह्ये देवेभिस्सह महेऽनुदायि त इन्द्रियाय ते सत्रा विश्वमनु दायि वृत्रहत्ये क्षत्रमनुदायि सहोऽनुदायि ते नृषह्ये सुखमनुदायि ॥८॥

What should a king do-is further told.
O piecer of the wicked-Indra! the most revered king, to you have been given in the battle all lordly power and might along with the enlightened persons; for your wealth, with truth whole world is given. For the battle where the wicked are slaughtered like the cloud, great kingdom or wealth has been given, great energy has been given to you and great happiness.
