आभिः॒ स्पृधो॑ मिथ॒तीररि॑षण्यन्न॒मित्र॑स्य व्यथया म॒न्युमि॑न्द्र। आभि॒र्विश्वा॑ अभि॒युजो॒ विषू॑ची॒रार्या॑य॒ विशोऽव॑ तारी॒र्दासीः॑ ॥२॥
ābhiḥ spṛdho mithatīr ariṣaṇyann amitrasya vyathayā manyum indra | ābhir viśvā abhiyujo viṣūcīr āryāya viśo va tārīr dāsīḥ ||
आभिः॑। स्पृधः॑। मि॒थ॒तीः। अरि॑षण्यन्। अ॒मित्र॑स्य। व्य॒थ॒य॒। म॒न्युम्। इ॒न्द्र॒। आभिः॑। विश्वाः॑। अ॒भि॒ऽयुजः॑। विषू॑चीः। आर्या॑य। विशः॑। अव॑। ता॒रीः॒। दासीः॑ ॥२॥

पुनः सेनेशः किं कुर्यादित्याह ॥
हे इन्द्र सेनेश ! त्वमाभिर्मिथतीः स्पृधोऽरिषण्यन्नमित्रस्य सेना मन्युं कृत्वा व्यथया। आभिरार्याय विश्वा अभियुजो विषूचीर्दासीर्विशोऽवतारीः ॥२॥

What should a commander of, the army do-is told.
O Indra-commander of the army! with these your protection or armies, discomfit the hosts of the enemy that fight against us and check them by your wrath not slaying un-righteously or uselessly. With these protections or armies, chase the foes to every quarter and subdues the female servants that are scattered everywhere and are engaged in doing their work (to do service) for good and righteous persons. Drive away all miseries of the people.
