आ जना॑य॒ द्रुह्व॑णे॒ पार्थि॑वानि दि॒व्यानि॑ दीपयो॒ऽन्तरि॑क्षा। तपा॑ वृषन्वि॒श्वतः॑ शो॒चिषा॒ तान्ब्र॑ह्म॒द्विषे॑ शोचय॒ क्षाम॒पश्च॑ ॥८॥
ā janāya druhvaṇe pārthivāni divyāni dīpayo ntarikṣā | tapā vṛṣan viśvataḥ śociṣā tān brahmadviṣe śocaya kṣām apaś ca ||
आ। जना॑य। द्रुह्व॑णे। पार्थि॑वानि। दि॒व्यानि॑। दी॒प॒यः॒। अ॒न्तरि॑क्षा। तप॑। वृ॒ष॒न्। वि॒श्वतः॑। शो॒चिषा॑। तान्। ब्र॒ह्म॒ऽद्विषे॑। शो॒च॒य॒। क्षाम्। अ॒पः। च॒ ॥८॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर विद्वान् जनों को क्या करना चाहिये, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥

पुनर्विद्वद्भिः किं कर्त्तव्यमित्याह ॥
हे वृषन् विद्वन् ! त्वं शोचिषा विश्वतो दिव्यान्यन्तरिक्षा पार्थिवान्याऽऽदीपयः। ब्रह्मद्विषे द्रुह्वणे जनाय विश्वतस्तपा, ये सज्जनान् परितापयन्ति ताञ्छोचय क्षामपश्च दीपयः ॥८॥

What should the enlightened person do is further told.
O mightiest enlightened person! illuminate with the light of your knowledge all the articles that are of divine qualities, belonging to the firmament or the earth. For a man, who hates God or Veda and who is of oppressive nature create heat (hatred) from all sides. For them who give trouble to good men, create grief or repentance and enlighten the earth and water.
