तन्नः॑ प्र॒त्नं स॒ख्यम॑स्तु यु॒ष्मे इ॒त्था वद॑द्भिर्व॒लमङ्गि॑रोभिः। हन्न॑च्युतच्युद्दस्मे॒षय॑न्तमृ॒णोः पुरो॒ वि दुरो॑ अस्य॒ विश्वाः॑ ॥५॥
tan naḥ pratnaṁ sakhyam astu yuṣme itthā vadadbhir valam aṅgirobhiḥ | hann acyutacyud dasmeṣayantam ṛṇoḥ puro vi duro asya viśvāḥ ||
तत्। नः॒। प्र॒त्नम्। स॒ख्यम्। अ॒स्तु॒। यु॒ष्मे इति॑। इ॒त्था। वद॑त्ऽभिः। व॒लम्। अङ्गि॑रःऽभिः। हन्। अ॒च्यु॒त॒ऽच्यु॒त्। द॒स्म॒। इ॒षय॑न्तम्। ऋ॒णोः। पुरः॑। वि। दुरः॑। अ॒स्य॒। विश्वाः॑ ॥५॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर मनुष्यों को परस्पर कैसा वर्त्ताव करना चाहिये, इस विषय को कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
प्रत्नं सख्यम्
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनर्मनुष्यैः परस्परं कथं वर्त्तितव्यमित्याह ॥
हे न्यायकारिणो राजादयो जना युष्माभिः सह नोऽस्माकं यथा यत्प्रत्नं सख्यमस्त्वित्था युष्मे वदद्भिः सहास्माकं सख्यमस्तु। यथाऽङ्गिरोभिस्सहाऽच्युतच्युत्सूर्य्यो वलं हंस्तथा हे दस्मेषयन्तं त्वमृणोर्यथास्य जगतो दुरः सविता प्रकाशयति तथा त्वं विश्वाः पुरो वृणोः ॥५॥

How should men deal with one another is told.
O just king and officers of the state ! let there be our ancient bond of friendship with you. Let there be our friendship with those persons also, who say like this. As the sun who is firm and smites the cloud with the help of the winds, in the same manner, o destroyer of miseries! accomplish the works of the person who comes to you. As the sun illumines the doors of this world, so you should open all the cities (of the state. )
