स नो॒ वाजा॑य॒ श्रव॑स इ॒षे च॑ रा॒ये धे॑हि द्यु॒मत॑ इन्द्र॒ विप्रा॑न्। भ॒रद्वा॑जे नृ॒वत॑ इन्द्र सू॒रीन्दि॒वि च॑ स्मैधि॒ पार्ये॑ न इन्द्र ॥१४॥
sa no vājāya śravasa iṣe ca rāye dhehi dyumata indra viprān | bharadvāje nṛvata indra sūrīn divi ca smaidhi pārye na indra ||
सः। नः॒। वाजा॑य। श्रव॑से। इ॒षे। च॒। रा॒ये। धे॒हि॒। द्यु॒ऽमतः॑। इ॒न्द्र॒। विप्रा॑न्। भ॒रत्ऽवा॑जे। नृ॒ऽवतः॑। इ॒न्द्र॒। सू॒रीन्। दि॒वि। च॒। स्म॒। ए॒धि॒। पार्ये॑। नः॒। इ॒न्द्र॒ ॥१४॥

पायें दिवि

पुनर्नृपेण किं कर्त्तव्यमित्याह ॥
हे इन्द्र ! स त्वं द्युमतो नो विप्रान् वाजाय श्रवस इषे राये च धेहि, हे इन्द्र ! त्वं नृवतोऽस्मान्त्सूरीन् भरद्वाजे दिवि च धेहि। हे इन्द्र ! त्वं पार्य्ये च नोऽस्माकं वर्धकः स्मैधि ॥१४॥

What should a king do is further elaborated.
O (king) Indra conveyor of Great prosperity uphold us who are endowed with the light of the knowledge, who are wise highly learned persons for speed or scientific knowledge, for hearing (the complaints of the people) and for good wealth. O Indra-eliminator of miseries and poverty, uphold us who are surrounded by admirable men and are full of knowledge in the dealing that sustains of protects the State and in the desirable light of justice. O Indra-increaser of the wealth of knowledge, be our increaser (helper) in the dealing that takes men away from miseries and obstacles.
