स॒म्राजा॑व॒स्य भुव॑नस्य राजथो॒ मित्रा॑वरुणा वि॒दथे॑ स्व॒र्दृशा॑। वृ॒ष्टिं वां॒ राधो॑ अमृत॒त्वमी॑महे॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी वि च॑रन्ति त॒न्यवः॑ ॥२॥
samrājāv asya bhuvanasya rājatho mitrāvaruṇā vidathe svardṛśā | vṛṣṭiṁ vāṁ rādho amṛtatvam īmahe dyāvāpṛthivī vi caranti tanyavaḥ ||
स॒म्ऽराजौ॑। अ॒स्य। भुव॑नस्य। रा॒ज॒थः॒। मित्रा॑वरुणा। वि॒दथे॑। स्वः॒ऽदृशा॑। वृ॒ष्टिम्। वा॒म्। राधः॑। अ॒मृ॒त॒ऽत्वम्। ई॒म॒हे॒। द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी इति॑। वि। च॒र॒न्ति॒। त॒न्यवः॑ ॥२॥

फिर मित्रावरुणवाच्य राजा अमात्य विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं ॥

पुनर्मित्रावरुणवाच्यराजामात्यविषयमाह ॥
हे मित्रावरुणा स्वर्दृशा सम्राजौ राजामात्यौ ! युवां यथा तन्यवो द्यावापृथिवी वि चरन्ति वृष्टिं जनयन्ति तथाऽस्य भुवनस्य मध्ये विदथे राजथो वयं वा राधोऽमृतत्वं चेमहे ॥२॥

O king and minister ! you are like the sun and the air, are showers of the path of happiness, shining well on account of your virtues. You shine in this world and in the battle fields as electricity pervades the heaven and the earth and generates rain. We pray to you for wealth and peace like water.
