अ॒ज्ये॒ष्ठासो॒ अक॑निष्ठास ए॒ते सं भ्रात॑रो वावृधुः॒ सौभ॑गाय। युवा॑ पि॒ता स्वपा॑ रु॒द्र ए॑षां सु॒दुघा॒ पृश्निः॑ सु॒दिना॑ म॒रुद्भ्यः॑ ॥५॥
ajyeṣṭhāso akaniṣṭhāsa ete sam bhrātaro vāvṛdhuḥ saubhagāya | yuvā pitā svapā rudra eṣāṁ sudughā pṛśniḥ sudinā marudbhyaḥ ||
अ॒ज्ये॒ष्ठासः॑। अक॑निष्ठासः। ए॒ते। सम्। भ्रात॑रः। व॒वृ॒धुः॒। सौभ॑गाय। युवा॑। पि॒ता। सु॒ऽअपाः॑। रु॒द्रः। ए॒षा॒म्। सु॒ऽदुघा॑। पृश्निः॑। सु॒ऽदिना॑। म॒रुत्ऽभ्यः॑ ॥५॥

पुनर्मनुष्यैः कथं भवितव्यमित्याह ॥
हे मनुष्या ! यथा स्वपा युवा रुद्रः पितैषां सुदुघा सुदिना पृश्निर्मरुद्भ्यो मनुष्येभ्यो विद्यादिदानं ददाति तथाऽज्येष्ठासोऽकनिष्ठास एते भ्रातरः सौभगाय सं वावृधृः ॥५॥

How should men be is told here.
All these men are brothers. There is none superior among them, none inferior (on account of birth in a certain family or country). Their father is a man of good deeds, young and terrible for the wicked (making them weep) and their mother is good intellect (which is like the firmament), who by giving them education to the fulfiller of noble desires and kind, making all days good for them, who are powerful like the winds. It is in this way that all men grow towards properties.
