ह॒ये नरो॒ मरु॑तो मृ॒ळता॑ न॒स्तुवी॑मघासो॒ अमृ॑ता॒ ऋत॑ज्ञाः। सत्य॑श्रुतः॒ कव॑यो॒ युवा॑नो॒ बृह॑द्गिरयो बृ॒हदु॒क्षमा॑णाः ॥८॥
haye naro maruto mṛḻatā nas tuvīmaghāso amṛtā ṛtajñāḥ | satyaśrutaḥ kavayo yuvāno bṛhadgirayo bṛhad ukṣamāṇāḥ ||
ह॒ये। नरः॑। मरु॑तः। मृ॒ळत॑। नः॒। तुवि॑ऽमघासः। अमृ॑ताः। ऋत॑ऽज्ञाः। सत्य॑ऽश्रुतः। कव॑यः। युवा॑नः। बृह॑त्ऽगिरयः। बृ॒हत्। उ॒क्षमा॑णाः ॥८॥

हये नरो मरुतस्तुवीमघासोऽमृताः सत्यश्रुतः ऋतज्ञा युवानो बृहद्गिरयो बृहदुक्षमाणाः कवयो यूयं नो मृळता ॥८॥

The duties of the enlightened persons are told.
O ye heroes! you are endowed with great wealth (or wisdom), you have attained emancipation; you are knowers of the true eternal God or Matter and you always listen to truth. You are well-versed in all sciences; you are youthful (energetic) physically and spiritually; you are benevolent like the big clouds and you serve the Supreme Being (God). Listen to our words of prayer and make us happy by being gracious to us.
