यू॒यं र॒यिं म॑रुतः स्पा॒र्हवी॑रं यू॒यमृषि॑मवथ॒ साम॑विप्रम्। यू॒यमर्व॑न्तं भर॒ताय॒ वाजं॑ यू॒यं ध॑त्थ॒ राजा॑नं श्रुष्टि॒मन्त॑म् ॥१४॥
yūyaṁ rayim marutaḥ spārhavīraṁ yūyam ṛṣim avatha sāmavipram | yūyam arvantam bharatāya vājaṁ yūyaṁ dhattha rājānaṁ śruṣṭimantam ||

हे मरुतो ! यूयं स्पार्हवीरं रयिमवथ यूयं सामविप्रमृषिमवथ यूयं भरतायार्वन्तं वाजं धत्थ यूयं श्रुष्टिमन्तं राजानं धत्थ ॥१४॥

The area and objects of protection by the king and other officers of the State are told.
O industrious mortals ! you protect our wealth of excellent men, and the seer who is knower of the meaning of the Vedas and is well-versed in Sama songs. You uphold sustenance development, and speed for a man who attains food and knowledge. You support a king who shines with justice and humility and who is prompt and active.
