अध॒ क्रत्वा॑ मघव॒न्तुभ्यं॑ दे॒वा अनु॒ विश्वे॑ अददुः सोम॒पेय॑म्। यत्सूर्य॑स्य ह॒रितः॒ पत॑न्तीः पु॒रः स॒तीरुप॑रा॒ एत॑शे॒ कः ॥५॥
adha kratvā maghavan tubhyaṁ devā anu viśve adaduḥ somapeyam | yat sūryasya haritaḥ patantīḥ puraḥ satīr uparā etaśe kaḥ ||
अध॑। क्रत्वा॑। म॒घ॒ऽव॒न्। तुभ्य॑म्। दे॒वाः। अनु॑। विश्वे॑। अ॒द॒दुः॒। सोम॒ऽपेय॑म्। यत्। सूर्य॑स्य। ह॒रितः। पत॑न्तीः। पु॒रः। स॒तीः। उप॑राः। एत॑शे। क॒रिति॒ कः ॥५॥

अथ विद्वद्विषयमाह ॥
हे मघवन् ! यत्सूर्यस्य पतन्तीः पुरः सतीरुपरा हरित एतशे कस्तस्य विद्यया तुभ्यं ये विश्वे देवाः सोमपेयमन्वददुस्तेऽध क्रत्वा विज्ञानिनो भवन्ति ॥५॥

The knowledge preached by the learned people is praised.
O king ! he knows the nature of the sustaining rays of the sun falling from the front. Sporting near us (so to speak) like a rider on the horse, because of the knowledge given by him, all learned persons give you the good and worth- drinking juice of the Soma, and thus they become scientists by using their sharp intellect.
