उ॒त ग्ना अ॒ग्निर॑ध्व॒र उ॒तो गृ॒हप॑ति॒र्दमे॑। उ॒त ब्र॒ह्मा नि षी॑दति ॥४॥
uta gnā agnir adhvara uto gṛhapatir dame | uta brahmā ni ṣīdati ||
उ॒त। ग्नाः। अ॒ग्निः। अ॒ध्व॒रे। उ॒तो इति॑। गृ॒हऽप॑तिः। दमे॑। उ॒त। ब्र॒ह्मा। नि। सी॒द॒ति॒॥४॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
अब विद्वानों के गुणों को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
प्रभु किस-किस रूप में ?

अथ विद्वद्गुणानाह ॥
हे मनुष्याः ! यो गृहपतिरग्निरिव ग्ना निषीदति उत ब्रह्मा सन्नध्वरे दमे निषीदति उतो कर्म्म करोति उतापि सर्वान् बोधयति स एव सत्कर्त्तव्यो भवतीति विजानीत ॥४॥

The attributes of the enlightened persons are told.
O men! you should know that the house holder is purifier like the fire and is well set in the right use of speech. Being the knower of the meanings of all Vedas, he sits in an inviolable house, and does noble deeds and gives good instruction to all is therefore ever honorable.
