सिन्धु॑र्ह वां र॒सया॑ सिञ्च॒दश्वा॑न्घृ॒णा वयो॑ऽरु॒षासः॒ परि॑ ग्मन्। तदू॒ षु वा॑मजि॒रं चे॑ति॒ यानं॒ येन॒ पती॒ भव॑थः सू॒र्यायाः॑ ॥६॥
sindhur ha vāṁ rasayā siñcad aśvān ghṛṇā vayo ruṣāsaḥ pari gman | tad ū ṣu vām ajiraṁ ceti yānaṁ yena patī bhavathaḥ sūryāyāḥ ||
सिन्धुः॑। ह॒। वा॒म्। र॒सया॑। सि॒ञ्च॒त्। अश्वा॑न्। घृ॒णा। वयः॑। अ॒रु॒षासः॑। परि॑। ग्म॒न्। तत्। ऊ॒म् इति॑। सु। वा॒म्। अ॒जि॒रम्। चे॒ति॒। यान॑म्। येन॑। पती॒ इति॑। भव॑थः। सू॒र्यायाः॑ ॥६॥

पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह ॥
हे अध्यापकोपदेशकौ ! यः सिन्धू रसयो वां सिञ्चद्वयो घृणाऽरुषासोऽश्वान् परि ग्मँस्तदु वामजिरं सु चेति येन यानं प्राप्य सूर्य्यायाः पती भवथस्तौ ह विजानीयाताम् ॥६॥

The role of teachers and preachers is mentioned
O teachers and preachers! the rivers delight you (lit. sprinkle) with their sweet water. Pervasive red coloured bright objects are added to the quick-going fire and other things from all sides. You know well what is to be obtained and retained and the rest is to be thrown away, (Ed.) as residue or worthless. With this knowledge, you get a good vehicle manufactured and become protectors of the luster of the sun or the dawn.
