पुन॒र्ये च॒क्रुः पि॒तरा॒ युवा॑ना॒ सना॒ यूपे॑व जर॒णा शया॑ना। ते वाजो॒ विभ्वाँ॑ ऋ॒भुरिन्द्र॑वन्तो॒ मधु॑प्सरसो नोऽवन्तु य॒ज्ञम् ॥३॥
punar ye cakruḥ pitarā yuvānā sanā yūpeva jaraṇā śayānā | te vājo vibhvām̐ ṛbhur indravanto madhupsaraso no vantu yajñam ||
पुनः॑। ये। च॒क्रुः। पि॒तरा॑। युवा॑ना। सना॑। यूपा॑ऽइव। ज॒र॒णा। शया॑ना। ते। वाजः॑। विऽभ्वा॑। ऋ॒भुः। इन्द्र॑ऽवन्तः। मधु॑ऽप्सरसः। नः। अ॒व॒न्तु॒। य॒ज्ञम् ॥३॥

फिर माता-पिता से शिक्षा विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं ॥

पुनर्मातापितृशिक्षाविषयमाह ॥
ये जरणा शयाना सन्तौ सना पितरा युवाना यूपेव पुनश्चक्रुस्ते मधुप्सरस इन्द्रवन्तो भूत्वा नो यज्ञमवन्तु तत्सङ्गेन विभ्वा वाज ऋभुरहं भवेयम् ॥३॥

Education by the parents and serving to them are emphasized.
On becoming young, respect the persons who serve their parents well and give them full rest and respect up to the old age and prove to them like their pillar (support), they become handsome and prosperous. Let those old parents continue the tradition of study and teaching. In their accompaniment and association and with the favor of blessings of the Almighty God, let me become wise and learned.
