अ॒भि प्र द॑द्रु॒र्जन॑यो॒ न गर्भं॒ रथा॑इव॒ प्र य॑युः सा॒कमद्र॑यः। अत॑र्पयो वि॒सृत॑ उ॒ब्ज ऊ॒र्मीन्त्वं वृ॒ताँ अ॑रिणा इन्द्र॒ सिन्धू॑न् ॥५॥
abhi pra dadrur janayo na garbhaṁ rathā iva pra yayuḥ sākam adrayaḥ | atarpayo visṛta ubja ūrmīn tvaṁ vṛtām̐ ariṇā indra sindhūn ||
अ॒भि। प्र। द॒द्रुः॒। जन॑यः। न। गर्भ॑म्। रथाः॑ऽइव। प्र। य॒युः॒। सा॒कम्। अद्र॑यः। अत॑र्पयः। वि॒ऽसृतः॑। उ॒ब्जः। ऊ॒र्मीन्। त्वम्। वृ॒तान्। अ॒रि॒णाः। इ॒न्द्र॒। सिन्धू॑न् ॥५॥

हे इन्द्र ! येऽद्रयो जनयो न गर्भम्प्राभिदद्रू रथा इव साकं प्रययुर्यथा तान् विसृत ऊर्म्मीन् सिन्धून्त्सूर्य्य उब्जोऽरिणास्तथा त्वं वृतानतर्पयस्तव भृत्या गच्छन्तु भार्य्या गर्भन्धरतु ॥५॥

The attributes of a Commander of the Army are told.
O Commander of the Army! you destroy your foes, like the sun shatters the big clouds that come like the womb to the wives, like the chariots go along with you, as the sun makes big rivers flow with their waves by sending rains. So you should satisfy loyal warriors and attendants. Let them follow you and let your wife bear child to give birth to brave sons like you.
