इन्द्रं॒ कामा॑ वसू॒यन्तो॑ अग्म॒न्त्स्व॑र्मीळ्हे॒ न सव॑ने चका॒नाः। श्र॒व॒स्यवः॑ शशमा॒नास॑ उ॒क्थैरोको॒ न र॒ण्वा सु॒दृशी॑व पु॒ष्टिः ॥१५॥
indraṁ kāmā vasūyanto agman svarmīḻhe na savane cakānāḥ | śravasyavaḥ śaśamānāsa ukthair oko na raṇvā sudṛśīva puṣṭiḥ ||
इन्द्र॑म्। कामाः॑। व॒सु॒ऽयन्तः॑। अ॒ग्म॒न्। स्वः॑ऽमीळ्हे। न। सव॑ने। च॒का॒नाः। श्र॒व॒स्यवः॑। श॒श॒मा॒नासः॑। उ॒क्थैः। ओकः॑। न। र॒ण्वा। सु॒दृशी॑ऽइव। पु॒ष्टिः ॥१५॥

अब राजविषय में सेना और अमात्य आदिकों की योग्यता के विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं ॥

अथ राजविषये सेनामात्यादियोग्यताविषयं चाह ॥
हे राजन् ! ये वसूयन्तः कामाः सवने चकानाः श्रवस्यवः शशमानास उक्थैरोको न स्वर्मीळ्हे न या सुदृशीव रण्वा पुष्टिस्तामग्मन्। तां प्राप्येन्द्रं तांस्त्वं सेनाराज्यकर्माचारिणः कुरु ॥१५॥

The criteria and qualities of the army and ministers etc. are told.
O king ! make those persons in charge of the army and in civil administration, who desire wealth, food and good reputation simultaneously with the prosperity of the State. They are resplendent when prompted, surpass the enemies in their strength, such people attain happiness on account of victory in the battle. They are indeed charming, lovely, inspiring, virtuous, and treating the welfare of the State as that of their homes.
