इन्द्रो॒ विश्वै॑र्वी॒र्यैः॒३॒॑ पत्य॑मान उ॒भे आ प॑प्रौ॒ रोद॑सी महि॒त्वा। पु॒रं॒द॒रो वृ॑त्र॒हा धृ॒ष्णुषे॑णः सं॒गृभ्या॑ न॒ आ भ॑रा॒ भूरि॑ प॒श्वः॥
indro viśvair vīryaiḥ patyamāna ubhe ā paprau rodasī mahitvā | puraṁdaro vṛtrahā dhṛṣṇuṣeṇaḥ saṁgṛbhyā na ā bharā bhūri paśvaḥ ||
इन्द्रः॑। विश्वैः॑। वी॒र्यैः॑। पत्य॑मानः। उ॒भे इति॑। आ। प॒प्रौ॒। रोद॑सी॒ इति॑। म॒हि॒ऽत्वा। पु॒र॒म्ऽद॒रः। वृ॒त्र॒ऽहा। धृ॒ष्णुऽसे॑णः। स॒म्ऽगृभ्य॑। नः॒। आ। भ॒र॒। भूरि॑। प॒श्वः॥

हे राजन् यो वृत्रहेव पुरन्दरः पत्यमानो धृष्णुसेन इन्द्रो भवान् विश्वैर्वीर्यैर्महित्वोभे रोदसी आ पप्रौ स त्वं भूरि नोऽस्मान् पश्वश्च सङ्गृभ्या भर ॥१५॥

The duties of kings are told.
O king ! you possess abundant wealth, are like the sun that is the destroyer of the clouds, or destroyer of the cities of the enemies, and are full of all energies. The leader of a conquering strong army, has transformed it into the kingdom of justice on the earth, after having upheld us and the animals. Support us well.
