ज॒ज्ञा॒नो हरि॑तो॒ वृषा॒ विश्व॒मा भा॑ति रोच॒नम्। हर्य॑श्वो॒ हरि॑तं धत्त॒ आयु॑ध॒मा वज्रं॑ बा॒ह्वोर्हरि॑म्॥
jajñāno harito vṛṣā viśvam ā bhāti rocanam | haryaśvo haritaṁ dhatta āyudham ā vajram bāhvor harim ||
ज॒ज्ञा॒नः। हरि॑तः। वृषा॑। विश्व॑म्। आ। भा॒ति॒। रो॒च॒नम्। हरि॑ऽअश्वः। हरि॑तम्। ध॒त्ते॒। आयु॑धम्। आ। वज्र॑म्। बा॒ह्वोः। हरि॑म्॥

अब विद्वान् के विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं।

जज्ञान: हरितो वृषा

अथ विद्वद्विषयमाह।
हे विद्वांसो ! यो जज्ञानो हरितो हर्यश्वो वृषा हरितरोचनं विश्वं बाह्वोर्हरितं वज्रमायुधमिवाऽऽधत्त आ भाति तं विज्ञायोपयुञ्जत ॥४॥

The duties of enlightened persons are told.
O men ! you should utilize well the electricity in the form of the lighting. The sun (rays) bears green and other colors, and is the cause of rain. It (sun)possesses many rapid going attributes, and illuminates the world. It upholds a desirable weapon and in its arms there are the solar rays and in his arms is the thunderbolt.
