वाजे॑षु सास॒हिर्भ॑व॒ त्वामी॑महे शतक्रतो। इन्द्र॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे॥
vājeṣu sāsahir bhava tvām īmahe śatakrato | indra vṛtrāya hantave ||
वाजे॑षु। स॒स॒हिः। भ॒व॒। त्वाम्। ई॒म॒हे॒। श॒त॒क्र॒तो॒ इति॑ शतऽक्रतो। इन्द्र॑। वृ॒त्राय॑। हन्त॑वे॥

The duties and attributies of a king are again stated.
O king or commandar of the army! you are gifted with infinite wisdom. O destroyer of the band of the wicked person! we solicit your assistance to slay the wicked enemy, who nullifies justice like the sun to clouds with proper means. Be victorious in the battles where food supplies, scientific knowledge and other materials are essential. You put up bravely with all difficulties and troubles.
