याँ आभ॑जो म॒रुत॑ इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ ये त्वामव॑र्ध॒न्नभ॑वन्ग॒णस्ते॑। तेभि॑रे॒तं स॒जोषा॑ वावशा॒नो॒३॒॑ग्नेः पि॑ब जि॒ह्वया॒ सोम॑मिन्द्र॥
yām̐ ābhajo maruta indra some ye tvām avardhann abhavan gaṇas te | tebhir etaṁ sajoṣā vāvaśāno gneḥ piba jihvayā somam indra ||
यान्। आ। अभ॑जः। म॒रुतः॑। इ॒न्द्र॒। सोमे॑। ये। त्वाम्। अव॑र्धन्। अभ॑वन्। ग॒णः। ते॒। तेभिः॑। ए॒तम्। स॒ऽजोषाः॑। वा॒व॒शा॒नः। अ॒ग्नेः। पि॒ब॒। जि॒ह्वया॑। सोम॑म्। इ॒न्द्र॒॥

फिर उसी विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहते हैं।

पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह।
हे इन्द्र ! त्वं सोमे यान् विदुषो मरुत इवाभजो ये सोमे त्वामवर्धन् यस्ते गणस्तं प्राप्याऽऽनन्दिता अभवँस्तेभिः सह हे इन्द्र सजोषा वावशानः सन्नग्नेर्जिह्वयैतं सोमं पिब ॥९॥

The duties for persons are assigned.
O Indra ! you are giver of much wealth and remover of all miseries. Drink this juice of Soma and other herbs along with the absolutely truthful and enlightened persons because they are dear to like your Pranas (Vital airs). They have encouraged and helped you in the attainment of prosperity, and are delighted when they get your protective umbrella. Drink this invigorating juice for seeking vigor. The loving and serving enlightened persons drink it like the fire consume it with tongue of flames.
