स॒त्रा॒साहं॒ वरे॑ण्यं सहो॒दां स॑स॒वांसं॒ स्व॑र॒पश्च॑ दे॒वीः। स॒सान॒ यः पृ॑थि॒वीं द्यामु॒तेमामिन्द्रं॑ मद॒न्त्यनु॒ धीर॑णासः॥
satrāsāhaṁ vareṇyaṁ sahodāṁ sasavāṁsaṁ svar apaś ca devīḥ | sasāna yaḥ pṛthivīṁ dyām utemām indram madanty anu dhīraṇāsaḥ ||
स॒त्रा॒ऽसहम्। वरे॑ण्यम्। स॒हः॒ऽदाम्। स॒स॒वांस॑म्। स्वः॑। अ॒पः। च॒। दे॒वीः। स॒सान॑। यः। पृ॒थि॒वीम्। द्याम्। उ॒त। इ॒माम्। इन्द्र॑म्। म॒द॒न्ति॒। अनु॑। धीऽर॑णासः॥

यः सत्रासाहं वरेण्यं सहोदां ससवांसं स्वर्देवीरपश्चेमां पृथिवीमुतेमां द्यां ससान तमिन्द्रं धीरणासो मदन्ति स ताननुमदेदानन्देत् ॥८॥

The duties of State officials are re-emphasized.
Those intelligent and brave persons please that Indra (wealthy King or President) who likes truthful persons and does not tolerate falsehood. He is ever victorious, excellent, bestower of strength and distinguishes between truth and untruth. He knows very well the nature of the truth, happiness, divine Pranas (vital energy), this earth and this firmament. He can examine the energy and its false resources. Such as (Indra) should also please them to their satisfaction.
