गवा॑शिरं म॒न्थिन॑मिन्द्र शु॒क्रं पिबा॒ सोमं॑ ररि॒मा ते॒ मदा॑य। ब्र॒ह्म॒कृता॒ मारु॑तेना ग॒णेन॑ स॒जोषा॑ रु॒द्रैस्तृ॒पदा वृ॑षस्व॥
gavāśiram manthinam indra śukram pibā somaṁ rarimā te madāya | brahmakṛtā mārutenā gaṇena sajoṣā rudrais tṛpad ā vṛṣasva ||
गोऽआ॑शिरम्। म॒न्थिन॑म्। इ॒न्द्र॒। शु॒क्रम्। पिब॑। सोम॑म्। र॒रि॒म। ते॒। मदा॑य। ब्र॒ह्म॒ऽकृता॑। मारु॑तेन। ग॒णेन॑। स॒ऽजोषाः॑। रु॒द्रैः। तृ॒पत्। आ। वृ॒ष॒स्व॒॥

हे इन्द्र ! वयं ते मदाय ये गवाशिरं शुक्रं मन्थिनं सोमं ररिम तं त्वं पिब ब्रह्मकृता मारुतेन गणेन रुद्रैः सह सजोषास्तृपत्सन्नावृषस्व ॥२॥

The royal path to get wealth is told.
O Indra (destroyer of all miseries) ! drink that pure and delicious, and is well churned Soma (juice of the nourishing plants which is purified with the rays of the sun). We offer it to you for your exhilaration or joy. Be mighty like a bull, associated with the abundance of gold and other things, thus making a man rich and living in the loving company of the enlightened persons of the middle class, who are to be satisfied like the Pranas (vital airs).
