नि ग॑व्य॒ता मन॑सा सेदुर॒र्कैः कृ॑ण्वा॒नासो॑ अमृत॒त्वाय॑ गा॒तुम्। इ॒दं चि॒न्नु सद॑नं॒ भूर्ये॑षां॒ येन॒ मासाँ॒ असि॑षासन्नृ॒तेन॑॥
ni gavyatā manasā sedur arkaiḥ kṛṇvānāso amṛtatvāya gātum | idaṁ cin nu sadanam bhūry eṣāṁ yena māsām̐ asiṣāsann ṛtena ||
नि। ग॒व्य॒ता। मन॑सा। से॒दुः॒। अ॒र्कैः। कृ॒ण्वा॒नासः॑। अ॒मृ॒त॒ऽत्वाय॑। गा॒तुम्। इ॒दम्। चि॒त्। नु। सद॑नम्। भूरि॑। ए॒षा॒म्। येन॑। मासा॑न्। असि॑सासन्। ऋ॒तेन॑॥

अब मोक्ष की इच्छा करनेवालों को क्या करना चाहिये, इस विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।

अथ मोक्षमिच्छुभिः किं कार्यमित्याह।
हे मनुष्या यथा कृण्वानासो गव्यता मनसार्कैः सहाऽमृतत्वाय गातुं निसेदुरिदं चिद्भूरि सदनं सेदुर्येनर्त्तेन मासानसिषासँस्तेनैषां कल्याणं नु जायते ॥९॥

The men should desire of attaining the emancipation.
The active men discharge their duties and associate themselves with the venerable enlightened persons, in they order to attain emancipation. With upright mind like a cow, dwell upon the admirable land and live in the suitable vast houses. They divide their timetable month-wise, and season-wise and act truthfully. They verily enjoy happiness and peace.
