प्र सू त॑ इन्द्र प्र॒वता॒ हरि॑भ्यां॒ प्र ते॒ वज्रः॑ प्रमृ॒णन्ने॑तु॒ शत्रू॑न्। ज॒हि प्र॑ती॒चो अ॑नू॒चः परा॑चो॒ विश्वं॑ स॒त्यं कृ॑णुहि वि॒ष्टम॑स्तु॥
pra sū ta indra pravatā haribhyām pra te vajraḥ pramṛṇann etu śatrūn | jahi pratīco anūcaḥ parāco viśvaṁ satyaṁ kṛṇuhi viṣṭam astu ||
प्र। सु। ते॒। इ॒न्द्र॒। प्र॒ऽवता॑। हरि॑ऽभ्याम्। प्र। ते॒। वज्रः॑। प्र॒ऽमृ॒णन्। ए॒तु॒। शत्रू॑न्। ज॒हि। प्र॒ती॒चः। अ॒नू॒चः। परा॑चः। विश्व॑म्। स॒त्यम्। कृ॒णु॒हि॒। वि॒ष्टम्। अ॒स्तु॒॥

पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह।
हे इन्द्र हरिभ्यां युक्ते रथे प्रवता मार्गेण भवान् वज्र इव शत्रून्प्रमृणन्प्रैतु। एवं ते विजयो भवति त्वं प्रतीचोऽनूचः पराचः शत्रून्प्रजहि विश्वं सत्यं सुकृणुहि यतो विष्टं चास्तु एवं ते सत्कीर्त्तिः प्रवर्त्तेत ॥६॥

The duties of the ruling persons are mentioned.
O king shining like the sun, come in your chariot drawn by the well trained horses on the straight smooth and new path. Let your destroying the thunderbolt-like rays of the sun (weapons) fall upon the enemies. In this way, you would win. Slay those wicked and deceitful foes that assail on the front or rear positions or are camping far away. Make the whole world, the abode of truth and let that truth pervade the world.
