शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ। शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम्॥
śunaṁ huvema maghavānam indram asmin bhare nṛtamaṁ vājasātau | śṛṇvantam ugram ūtaye samatsu ghnantaṁ vṛtrāṇi saṁjitaṁ dhanānām ||
शु॒नम्। हु॒वे॒म॒। म॒घवा॑नम्। इन्द्र॑म्। अ॒स्मिन्। भरे॑। नृऽत॑मम्। वाज॑ऽसातौ। शृ॒ण्वन्त॑म्। उ॒ग्रम्। ऊ॒तये॑। स॒मत्ऽसु॑। घ्नन्त॑म्। वृ॒त्राणि॑। स॒म्ऽजित॑म्। धना॑नाम्॥

हे मनुष्या यमस्मिन् भरे वाजसातौ शुनं मघवानं नृतमं शृण्वन्तमुग्रं समत्सु वृत्राणि घ्नन्तं धनानां संजितमिन्द्रं वयं हुवेम तं यूयमूतय आह्वयत ॥२२॥

The subject of duties of rulers is continued.
O men ! indeed we praise the army men for our protection in this battle, where much wealth is gained and distributed. The king or the Commander of the army who possesses advanced knowledge, is wealthy, liberal donor and is the best among the leading men. He is also full of splendor and fierce for the wicked, destroyer of the foes like clouds in the battles and conqueror of riches acceding to our requests. So you should also do.
