यथाय॑जो हो॒त्रम॑ग्ने पृथि॒व्या यथा॑ दि॒वो जा॑तवेदश्चिकि॒त्वान्। ए॒वानेन॑ ह॒विषा॑ यक्षि दे॒वान्म॑नु॒ष्वद्य॒ज्ञं प्र ति॑रे॒मम॒द्य॥
yathāyajo hotram agne pṛthivyā yathā divo jātavedaś cikitvān | evānena haviṣā yakṣi devān manuṣvad yajñam pra tiremam adya ||
यथा॑। अय॑जः। हो॒त्रम्। अ॒ग्ने॒। पृ॒थि॒व्याः। यथा॑। दि॒वः। जा॒त॒ऽवे॒दः॒। चि॒कि॒त्वान्। ए॒व। अ॒नेन॑। ह॒विषा॑। य॒क्षि॒। दे॒वान्। म॒नु॒ष्वत्। य॒ज्ञम्। प्र। ति॒र॒। इ॒मम्। अ॒द्य॥

फिर उसी विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।

पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह।
हे जातवेदोऽग्ने ! यथा त्वं पृथिव्या होत्रमयजो यथा दिवः चिकित्वान् सन् अनेन हविषैव देवान् यक्ष्यद्येमं यज्ञं प्र तिर तथाहमपि मनुष्वत्कुर्य्याम् ॥२॥

The nature and properties of the fire are narrated.
O wise men ! you shine like the fire, when you perform HAVANA with articles of the earth Havan Samagri or from the light of wisdom. Being blessed with knowledge, you unify today the divine attributes or the enlightened persons with this oblations, which extends the spirit of Yajna (service and self-sacrifice). I may also perform this Yajna like a thoughtful learned person.
