इळा॑मग्ने पुरु॒दंसं॑ स॒निं गोः श॑श्वत्त॒मं हव॑मानाय साध। स्यान्नः॑ सू॒नुस्तन॑यो वि॒जावाग्ने॒ सा ते॑ सुम॒तिर्भू॑त्व॒स्मे॥
iḻām agne purudaṁsaṁ saniṁ goḥ śaśvattamaṁ havamānāya sādha | syān naḥ sūnus tanayo vijāvāgne sā te sumatir bhūtv asme ||
इळा॑म्। अ॒ग्ने॒। पु॒रु॒ऽदंस॑म्। स॒निम्। गोः। श॒श्व॒त्ऽत॒मम्। हव॑मानाय। सा॒ध॒। स्यात्। नः॒। सू॒नुः। तन॑यः। वि॒जाऽवा॑। अ॒ग्ने॒। सा। ते॒। सु॒ऽम॒तिः। भू॒तु॒। अ॒स्मे इति॑॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर उसी विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
'विजावा तनयः' सूनुः
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह।
हे अग्ने ! त्वं हवमानाय शश्वत्तमं पुरुदंसमिळां गोः सनिमैश्वर्यं साध येन नः सूनुः तनयः विजावा स्यात्। हे अग्ने या ते सुमतिरस्ति सास्मे भूतु ॥७॥

The duties of enlightened are stated.
O illuminator of knowledge! you are like the fire. Grant to the admirer of noble virtues perpetual wealth which leads to many right and noble deeds and which discriminates well between truth and falsehood in this world, and between the condemned and refined speechs. May your gracious will be ever upon us, so that we may be blessed with children who are righteous and victorious.
