ह॒ये दे॑वा यू॒यमिदा॒पयः॑ स्थ॒ ते मृ॑ळत॒ नाध॑मानाय॒ मह्य॑म्। मा वो॒ रथो॑ मध्यम॒वाळृ॒ते भू॒न्मा यु॒ष्माव॑त्स्वा॒पिषु॑ श्रमिष्म॥
haye devā yūyam id āpayaḥ stha te mṛḻata nādhamānāya mahyam | mā vo ratho madhyamavāḻ ṛte bhūn mā yuṣmāvatsv āpiṣu śramiṣma ||
ह॒ये। दे॒वाः॒। यू॒यम्। इत्। आ॒पयः॑। स्थ॒। ते। मृ॒ळ॒त॒। नाध॑मानाय। मह्य॑म्। मा। वः॒। रथः॑। म॒ध्य॒म॒ऽवाट्। ऋ॒ते। भू॒त्। मा। यु॒ष्माव॑त्ऽसु। आ॒पिषु॑। श्र॒मि॒ष्म॒॥

फिर उसी विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।

पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह।
हये देवा ये यूयमिदापयः स्थ ते नाधमाना मह्यं मृळत यो वो मह्यमवाड्रथ ते जले गमयति स नष्टो मा भूदीदृशेषु युष्मावत्स्वापिषु विद्याप्राप्तये वयं श्रमिष्म अयं च श्रमो नष्टो माभूत् ॥४॥

Expectations from the learned are further described.
O learned persons ! you become fully virtuous and on begging you make me happy. Your transporting chariots or conveyances carry the packages across the globe over the oceans and in the air, and may not meet any disaster or accident. Let us labor like you to seek knowledge from well read people, so that it may not go waste.
