वि॒द्यामा॑दित्या॒ अव॑सो वो अ॒स्य यद॑र्यमन्भ॒य आ चि॑न्मयो॒भु। यु॒ष्माकं॑ मित्रावरुणा॒ प्रणी॑तौ॒ परि॒ श्वभ्रे॑व दुरि॒तानि॑ वृज्याम्॥
vidyām ādityā avaso vo asya yad aryaman bhaya ā cin mayobhu | yuṣmākam mitrāvaruṇā praṇītau pari śvabhreva duritāni vṛjyām ||
वि॒द्याम्। आ॒दि॒त्याः॒। अव॑सः। वः॒। अ॒स्य। य॒त्। अ॒र्य॒म॒न्। भ॒ये। आ। चि॒त्। म॒यः॒ऽभु। यु॒ष्माक॑म्। मि॒त्रा॒व॒रुणा॒। प्रऽनी॑तौ। परि॑। श्वभ्रा॑ऽइव। दुः॒ऽइ॒तानि॑। वृ॒ज्या॒म्॥

फिर उसी विषय को अगले मन्त्र में कहा है।

हे आदित्या हे अर्यमन् यद्भये सति वोऽस्यावसश्चिन्मयोभु स्यात्तदहमाविद्याम्। हे मित्रावरुणा युष्माकं प्रणीतौ श्वभ्रेव दुरितानि परिवृज्याम् ॥५॥

O learned person! you throw the light of learning among the mankind like sun. You always respect the noble persons and treat them with pleasant language. I want to acquire that quality. Like the vital winds of the body (PRAANA, APAANA), I desire to give up all my sins in the forlorn time, because of your nice teachings.
