स ह॑ श्रु॒त इन्द्रो॒ नाम॑ दे॒व ऊ॒र्ध्वो भु॑व॒न्मनु॑षे द॒स्मत॑मः। अव॑ प्रि॒यम॑र्शसा॒नस्य॑ सा॒ह्वाञ्छिरो॑ भरद्दा॒सस्य॑ स्व॒धावा॑न्॥

The attributes of the President of the Assembly are mentioned.
The President of the Assembly should be reputed, brilliant, remover of people's grievances, tolerant and showerer of knowledge like the sun. He should be compassionate towards his subordinates, as well as to a powerful man, and should be supreme to all. As the sun manages the clouds, same way that President should be our protector in all the nice ventures.
