स नो॑ नृ॒णां नृत॑मो रि॒शादा॑ अ॒ग्निर्गिरोऽव॑सा वेतु धी॒तिम्। तना॑ च॒ ये म॒घवा॑नः॒ शवि॑ष्ठा॒ वाज॑प्रसूता इ॒षय॑न्त॒ मन्म॑ ॥
sa no nṛṇāṁ nṛtamo riśādā agnir giro vasā vetu dhītim | tanā ca ye maghavānaḥ śaviṣṭhā vājaprasūtā iṣayanta manma ||
सः। नः॒। नृ॒णाम्। नृऽत॑मः। रि॒शादाः॑। अ॒ग्निः। गिरः॑। अव॑सा। वे॒तु॒। धी॒तिम्। तना॑। च॒। ये। म॒घऽवा॑नः। शवि॑ष्ठाः। वाज॑ऽप्रसूताः। इ॒षय॑न्त। मन्म॑ ॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर वह उक्त विद्वान् कैसा हो, यह विषय अगले मन्त्र में कहा है ॥
हरिशरण सिद्धान्तालंकार
नृणां नृतमः
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनः स कीदृश इत्युपदिश्यते ॥
यो नोऽस्माकं नृणां मध्ये नृतमोऽग्निरिवावसा गिरो धीतिं च कामयते स नो नृणां मध्ये सभाध्यक्षत्वं वेतु प्राप्नोतु। ये नोऽस्माकं नृणां मध्ये रिशादा वाजप्रसूताः श्रविष्ठा मघवानस्तना मन्म चात् सद्गुणानिषयन्त ते नोऽस्माकं सभासदः सन्तु ॥ ४ ॥

May he who is the best among men, destroyer of violent enemies, who like a highly educated person desires with protection, speech and upholding, with the Presidentship of the of the Assembly. May those of us be the members of the Assembly, who are destroyers of their foes, shining with virtues like the knowledge and wisdom, very powerful possessors of good wealth, desirous of prosperity, knowledge and other virtues.
