च॒र्कृत्यं॑ मरुतः पृ॒त्सु दु॒ष्टरं॑ द्यु॒मन्तं॒ शुष्मं॑ म॒घव॑त्सु धत्तन। ध॒न॒स्पृत॑मु॒क्थ्यं॑ वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिं तो॒कं पु॑ष्येम॒ तन॑यं श॒तं हिमाः॑ ॥
carkṛtyam marutaḥ pṛtsu duṣṭaraṁ dyumantaṁ śuṣmam maghavatsu dhattana | dhanaspṛtam ukthyaṁ viśvacarṣaṇiṁ tokam puṣyema tanayaṁ śataṁ himāḥ ||
च॒र्कृत्य॑म्। म॒रु॒तः॒। पृ॒त्ऽसु। दु॒स्तर॑म्। द्यु॒ऽमन्त॑म्। शुष्म॑म्। म॒घव॑त्ऽसु। ध॒त्त॒न॒। ध॒न॒ऽस्पृत॑म्। उ॒क्थ्य॑म्। वि॒श्वऽच॑र्षणिम्। तो॒कम्। पु॒ष्ये॒म॒। तन॑यम्। श॒तम्। हिमाः॑ ॥
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
फिर वे पूर्वोक्त वायु कैसे गुणवाले हैं, इस विषय का उपदेश अगले मन्त्र में किया है ॥

पुनस्ते कीदृशा इत्युपदिश्यते ॥
हे मरुतः मनुष्या ! यथा वयं पृत्सु चर्कृत्यं दुष्टरं द्युमन्तं शुष्मं बलं मघवत्सु धनस्पृतमुक्थ्यं विश्वचर्षणिं तोकं तनयं प्राप्य शतं हिमाः पुष्येम तथाऽनुष्ठाय यूयं सुखं धत्तन ॥ १४ ॥

How are they [Maruts] is taught further in the fourteenth Mantra.
O men, may we among the wealthy kings obtain strength which enables us to discharge our duties, which is invincible in battles with wicked persons and illustrious. May we have also sons & grandsons who are annihilators of their adversaries the seizers of wealth from the hands of the wicked, the deservers of praise and all deserving. May we cherish such sons and grandsons for a hundred winters and be always full of bliss.
