त्वमा॑विथ सु॒श्रव॑सं॒ तवो॒तिभि॒स्तव॒ त्राम॑भिरिन्द्र॒ तूर्व॑याणम्। त्वम॑स्मै॒ कुत्स॑मतिथि॒ग्वमा॒युं म॒हे राज्ञे॒ यूने॑ अरन्धनायः ॥
tvam āvitha suśravasaṁ tavotibhis tava trāmabhir indra tūrvayāṇam | tvam asmai kutsam atithigvam āyum mahe rājñe yūne arandhanāyaḥ ||
त्वम्। आ॒वि॒थ॒। सु॒ऽश्रव॑सम्। तव॑। ऊ॒तिऽभिः॑। तव॑। त्राम॑ऽभिः। इ॒न्द्र॒। तूर्व॑याणम्। त्वम्। अ॒स्मै॒। कुत्स॑म्। अ॒ति॒थि॒ऽग्वम्। आ॒युम्। म॒हे। राज्ञे॑। यूने॑। अ॒र॒न्ध॒ना॒यः॒ ॥

पुनः स कीदृश इत्युपदिश्यते ॥
हे इन्द्र सभाद्यध्यक्ष ! त्वमस्मै महे यूने राज्ञे तवोतिभिस्तव त्रामभी रक्षितं यमतिथिग्वं तूर्वयाणमायुं सुश्रवसमरन्धनायो यं त्वं कुत्समाविथ तं किमपि दुःखं न भवति ॥ १० ॥

How is Indra is taught further in the tenth Mantra.
O Indra (The President of the Assembly or the commander of the army) Thou preservest highly learned man possessing Divine knowledge and liberal, with thy protective power. Thou preservest with Thy aids the man who has under him in chariots many great heroes, destroyers of the strength of the enemies. To the mighty but youthful king shining on account of knowledge, justice and humility, thou givest thunderbolt or powerful weapon, for the protection of such persons who are hospitable to their guests. Such persons protected by thee never suffer.
