How can this benefit be taken is taught in the next Mantra.
1. O men ! come hither and take your seats as friends. Glorify or praise God who is the Lord of all wealth. He is to be praised by us, as He is the Giver of good gifts, He makes us beautiful or charming on account of His wonderful merits. 2. In the case of the sun, the meaning of the Mantra is O men, be friendly to one another and take your seats here. The sun is to be praised on account of its wonderful attributes. It is the giver of various kinds of good wealth (as it is in the light of the sun that people are able to discharge their duties properly in order to acquire wealth). It purifies us by its rays.
