येन॒ माना॑सश्चि॒तय॑न्त उ॒स्रा व्यु॑ष्टिषु॒ शव॑सा॒ शश्व॑तीनाम्। स नो॑ म॒रुद्भि॑र्वृषभ॒ श्रवो॑ धा उ॒ग्र उ॒ग्रेभि॒: स्थवि॑रः सहो॒दाः ॥
yena mānāsaś citayanta usrā vyuṣṭiṣu śavasā śaśvatīnām | sa no marudbhir vṛṣabha śravo dhā ugra ugrebhiḥ sthaviraḥ sahodāḥ ||
येन॑। माना॑सः। चि॒तय॑न्ते। उ॒स्राः। विऽउ॑ष्टिषु। शव॑सा। शश्व॑तीनाम्। सः। नः॒। म॒रुत्ऽभिः॑। वृ॒ष॒भ॒। श्रवः॑। धाः॒। उ॒ग्रः। उ॒ग्रेभिः॑। स्थवि॑रः। स॒हः॒ऽदाः ॥ १.१७१.५

येन शवसा वर्त्तमाना शश्वतीनां व्युष्टिषूस्रा मानासो विद्वांसः प्रजाश्चितयन्ते। हे वृषभसभेशोग्रेभिर्मरुद्भिस्सहोग्रः स्थविरः सहोदाः संस्त्वं श्रवो धाः स नोऽस्माकं राजा भव ॥ ५ ॥

The clarity of path of justice is narrated.
Men who are original and vigorous inhabitants of the land, living in different regions, they confer consciousness on the people of the State. Likewise, O showerer of happiness! you are fierce to the wicked, grateful to the aged and experienced, giver of strength and guarded by the fierce Maruts (brave persons ). Grant us abundant food and other necessary articles and be our ruler.
