व॒यम॒द्येन्द्र॑स्य॒ प्रेष्ठा॑ व॒यं श्वो वो॑चेमहि सम॒र्ये। व॒यं पु॒रा महि॑ च नो॒ अनु॒ द्यून्तन्न॑ ऋभु॒क्षा न॒रामनु॑ ष्यात् ॥
vayam adyendrasya preṣṭhā vayaṁ śvo vocemahi samarye | vayam purā mahi ca no anu dyūn tan na ṛbhukṣā narām anu ṣyāt ||
व॒यम्। अ॒द्य। इन्द्र॑स्य। प्रेष्ठाः॑। व॒यम्। श्वः। वो॒चे॒म॒हि॒। स॒ऽम॒र्ये। व॒यम्। पु॒रा। महि॑। च॒। नः॒। अनु॑। द्यून्। तत्। नः॒। ऋ॒भु॒क्षाः। न॒राम्। अनु॑। स्या॒त् ॥ १.१६७.१०

प्रभु के प्रिय
स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती
पुनस्तमेव विषयमाह ।
हे विद्वांसो वयमद्य इन्द्रस्य प्रेष्ठाः स्मो वयं श्वः समर्ये वोचेमहि। पुरा यच्च नो महि तद्वयमनु द्यून् वोचेमहि नरां मनुष्याणां मध्ये न ऋभुक्षा अनुष्यात् ॥ १० ॥

Glories to Indra described.
Our glories to Indra. We are his most beloved. He is a highly learned and wealthy person and occupies a high position in the State-of a President or Commander in-Chief of the army. Let us glorify and speak to him encouraging and in exhorting words at the time of battles. Let us proclaim the glory of our great scholars as before, every day. Thus the wisest among men would favor us.
