य ईं॑ च॒कार॒ न सो अ॒स्य वे॑द॒ य ईं॑ द॒दर्श॒ हिरु॒गिन्नु तस्मा॑त्। स मा॒तुर्योना॒ परि॑वीतो अ॒न्तर्ब॑हुप्र॒जा निर्ऋ॑ति॒मा वि॑वेश ॥

The soul that does all these outer acts does not know her own nature. A wise man knows the real nature of his soul and knows very distinctly that she is separate and hidden from the body. Enveloped within his mother's womb and thereafter born, such a person with a large number of his sons and daughters (progeny ) born lives in this world and ultimately suffers.
